Code of Conduct

Objective

Coffee aims to foster inclusivity among a broad spectrum of Mentors and Mentees from diverse backgrounds. Our commitment is to ensure a cordial, secure, and hospitable setting for everyone, irrespective of their gender, sexual orientation, abilities, ethnic origins, socioeconomic levels, or religious beliefs (including non-belief).

This Code of Conduct delineates the standards expected from everyone involved in our community, alongside the repercussions for inappropriate actions.

We encourage all members of the Coffee community to collaborate in establishing a supportive and positive environment for all participants.

Community Guidelines

We ask all members of our community to adhere to the following guidelines:

Avoid engaging in behavior or speech that is demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing.
Stay aware of the environment and those around you. If you observe anything hazardous, someone experiencing distress, or any breaches of our community standards, please inform the staff, regardless of how minor these may seem.
Foster an atmosphere of honesty, support, and encouragement amongst each other.
Respect various perspectives and lived experiences.
Receive constructive feedback with grace and openness.

Prohibited Conduct

Within our community, the following actions are strictly prohibited:

Using or threatening physical harm, or employing threatening language toward others.
Making or endorsing discriminatory remarks or humor based on sex, race, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or any other characteristic.
Sharing or displaying content that is sexually explicit or graphically violent.
Revealing or threatening to reveal private information about others without consent.
Engaging in insulting or demeaning speech, especially if it targets specific attributes such as race, religion, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
Directing unwanted sexual advances or remarks.
Continuously interrupting or causing disturbances during community interactions.
Engaging in deceitful activities like submitting fraudulent reviews or misrepresenting facts.
Engaging in any behavior that might be seen as unprofessional or inappropriate in a workplace.
Supporting or promoting any of the behaviors listed above.

Implications

Non-adherence to the community rules outlined herein will result in penalties. Initial violations might lead to a temporary ban from the platform. Should violations persist, or if it is perceived that your actions are not well-intentioned, a permanent expulsion could be enforced.
